Room Information

Freycinet Cabin
The Freycinet Cabin is a large one-room cabin. It is ideal for a couple or two adults and a third person. The lounge/sitting area is part of this room and a balcony is accessed via glass doors.  Bedding configuration consists of one king-size bed and one double sofa bed. Max: 4 people.

Oyster Bay Cabin
The Oyster Bay Cabin is a two-room cabin, ideal for families (the main room includes the sitting/lounge area as well as the main bedroom). The second room and bathroom are accessed from the main room.  Bedding configuration consists of one king-size bed in the main room and 2 single beds in the second room. Max: 5 people.

Wineglass Deluxe Cabin
The Deluxe Wineglass Cabin is a one-room cabin, ideal for a couple wanting a little extra comfort, especially if they are on their honeymoon or an indulgent holiday. Max: 3 people.

Wineglass Premier Cabin
The Wineglass Premier Cabin is the top-of-the-range cabin, ideal for couples. These spacious open-plan cabins are for the discerning traveler and feature a fresh new style for Freycinet Lodge.

Things To Do


The Bay Restaurant: Indulge in premium dining featuring Tasmania’s best food and wine using the freshest produce. Overlooking the spectacular coastline of Coles Bay, The Bay Restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere to complete your Freycinet experience.  The Bay Restaurant is also open for buffet breakfast daily; reservations must be made.

Richardson’s Bistro: After returning from one of the national park’s spectacular walks, kick back in Richardson’s Bistro, overlooking Coles Bay. Casual, tasty meals are complemented by a good selection of Tasmanian wines and beers.


Explore a beach, take a hike, discover history, paddle a kayak, hook your dinner, tour an oyster farm, visit a winery or watch the wildlife – Tasmania's Freycinet is a peninsula of experiences. 

There is also a tennis court at Freycinet Lodge and activities such as bike hire, soccer, basketball, volley ball, badminton, golf putt-putt and bocce available for in-house guests.
