The stay
What to know about this stay.
Royal Mail Hotel sits at the foot of Mount Sturgeon in Dunkeld, at the southern edge of Grampians National Park. Its wine cellar holds more than 30,000 bottles, including the largest private collection of Bordeaux and Burgundy in the Southern Hemisphere, alongside the two-hatted Wickens restaurant.
Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel runs a two-hatted tasting menu built around the kitchen garden just outside, while Parker Street Project covers more casual dining for a lighter evening. Guided tours of the kitchen garden and wine cellar, plus self-guided walking tracks into the Grampians, round out a stay built around food as much as the national park next door, and an Outdoor Wellness Suite for house guests only includes a magnesium salt hot tub facing Mount Sturgeon.
