Luggage Limits and Excess Baggage

Some airlines may impose additional charges if you choose to check any baggage. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding your airline's checked baggage policies.

Please be aware that all airlines impose strict luggage limits. These will vary between the different airlines, and in particular domestic and internal flight operators in many countries will have much lower baggage allowances than International carriers. Excess baggage rates vary by airline, some are per item, some are per pound or kilogram - or sometimes both. Please check with your airline prior to travel so that you may prepare for your trip accordingly.

In addition, some operators have limited luggage space on board their vehicles and will also impose restrictions, often just one piece per person. If you are on an extended or group escorted tour, please make yourself aware of your luggage allowance prior to departure. For information and costs associated with shipping excess luggage, please visit www.xsbaggage.com who can provide a shipping services between most of our travel destinations, by air or by sea.
