The luxuriously ‘all new’ suites have been stunningly upgraded and feature a harmonious tropical feel with a modern contemporary style. Views over the Coral Sea and Four Mile Beach from your large private balcony that allows you to relax listening to the calmness of the waves lapping on the beach.

All suites are light and spacious with living/dining area, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom w/ large twin plunge bath, separate walk-in shower. Uniquely Australian, certified organic Appelles Guest Amenities and fresh flowers along with our aromatherapy infusers create a tranquil ambience.

Welcome to Hi Tide – a funky and cozy little Cafe-Restaurant that is the Oceanfront Restaurant for the Peninsula Boutique Hotel.

Not only is it conveniently located at the end of Port Douglas’ main street (Macrossan), it utilizes all the fresh produce from the Coral Sea and Atherton Tablelands. This means the menu changes almost every night and the team of talented Chefs are welcome to create one-off delicious dishes based on what is fresh and in-season. With an open-pass kitchen, diners are encouraged to see and talk to the Chefs who will be creating your handcrafted cuisine.

Hosting a variety of theme nights throughout the week including seafood night, curry night, surf ‘n turf and fresh fish & chips, Hi Tide is open from 7am daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Hi Tide Bar is also a great place to be found- the Happy Hour cocktails every afternoon are a great way to melt into the nightly cuisine. A clever and tailored wine list is always popular that highlights the best vino to indulge with your dining. What – don’t eat fish! – then no better place to partake of the superbly tender eight hour slow roasted lamb shank. Accompanied by a lush tomato sauce with wilted spinach, served on a bed of mash and finished with a herb gremolata, this is a simple but outrageously satisfying classic. The Chef’s daily blackboard of specials will temp every palate.
