Shipwreck Lodge

Surrounded by enigmatic shipwrecks, Shipwreck Lodge is a unique safari lodge on the remote Skeleton Coast. This raw and rugged African wilderness boasts towering dunes and wind-swept plains along the icy Atlantic seas. From desert fauna to enchanting flora, beach-combing for relics, and marveling at the Clay Castles, there’s nowhere quite like the Skeleton Coast. With design inspired by the shipwrecks that line this treacherous coast, this Michelin Two-Key lodge offers a stay that’s as unique as it is unforgettable.

The Skeleton Coast is a mysterious and eerie place, known for its beauty and haunting atmosphere. Shipwreck Lodge is the only lodge inside the Skeleton Coast National Park, 28 miles north of Mowe Bay, on the mouth of the Hoarusib River. The area contains irreplaceable and vulnerable wildlife habitat for species of the highest conservation importance, including black rhino, elephant, black faced impala and the Hartmann’s mountain zebra.
