Game drives, boat excursions and night drives all run from Wilderness Vumbura Plains, covering a wider range of activity types than most single-camp stays, with regular sightings of wild dog, lion, leopard, cheetah and African wildcat alongside the Delta's usual plains game. Suites here rank among the largest in the Delta, each open-plan with a sunken seating area, private plunge pool and both indoor and outdoor showers.
A star-gazing deck protrudes into the floodplain from each of the camp's two satellite sections, worth an evening away from the fire pit to just lie back and look up. Wilderness leases this 60,000-hectare concession directly from the Okavango Community Trust, with the lease fees funding local community programs.
