The stay
What to know about this stay.
Zarafa Camp sits on the private 320,000-acre Selinda Reserve in northern Botswana, along the Zibadianja Lagoon that links the Okavango Delta to the Chobe and Savute corridors. Co-owned by filmmaker-conservationists Dereck and Beverly Joubert, it's Botswana's first and only Relais & Chateaux property, with just four guest tents.
Each 1,000-square-foot tent comes with a private plunge pool, copper claw-foot bath and its own outdoor shower, about as spacious as a safari tent gets. The lagoon draws hundreds of elephant and buffalo through the dry season, and the camp's small scale keeps game drives genuinely private, with everything, meals, drinks and all wildlife activities, included in the rate.
