Day 1 – Welcome to Seychelles

Upon arrival into Mahe, Seychelles you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 2 – Seychelles at Leisure

The islands of the Seychelles offer a world of perpetual golden summer, where people and nature live in effortless harmony. The Seychelles is the name given to an archipelago of 115 islands in the heart of the Indian Ocean. It is immaculate with uncrowded beaches, powder-soft white sands, glorious tropical climate and warm turquoise waters. It is a kaleidoscope array of untouched forests, bird sanctuaries, exotic hideaways, virgin fishing grounds, and spectacular diving spots where few have ever ventured.

Day 3 – Seychelles at Leisure

One of the Seychelles greatest assets is its wide variety of islands all with their own distinct geography, character and stories to tell. Experiencing more than one island during your stay is a must. Mahe is the largest island, cultural and economic hub of the inner islands and the gateway to the Seychelles and boasts 75 beaches. Praslin is Seychelles second largest island. It is the site of the fabulous Vallee de mai (one of Seychelles two UNESCO world heritage sites) and is also home to Coco de mer. North Island is one of the 40 inner granitic islands of the Seychelles that are often considered to be the most beautiful on Earth.

Day 6 – Seychelles to Cape Town, via Johannesburg

Today you depart the tropical island of Mahe for South Africa. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town, via Johannesburg. Upon arrival into Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 7 – Best of Cape Town

Experience the best of what the Cape has to offer in this full-day tour combining the Cape Point and Constantia Winelands. Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard past the beautiful beach locations of Clifton and Camps Bay towards the Cape Point, the most Southwesterly tip of the African Continent. The Cape of Good Hope is one of the two world-renowned landmarks within the Table Mountain National Park and is home to an array of fynbos, over 250 species of birds, bucks, baboons and Cape mountain zebras. Hop aboard the funicular and you will be whisked away on a scenic trip 780 feet above the ocean to where the old lighthouse keeps watch over the seas. The journey continues to False Bay on of the largest and most picturesque stretches of coastline. Known for its scenic beauty, it encompasses small seaside villages along the coastline. The most popular small towns include the historical naval village of Simon’s Town with a stop at Boulders the African Penguin Colony, Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat. Leave the cost behind as you travel tothe Constantia Valley, Cape Town’s Vineyard. Nestled beneath Table Mountain National Park and commanding vistas of the Constantiaberg and Table Mountain ranges lies Constantia, the oldest wine-making region in the southern hemisphere. Filled with heritage and landscapes of unsurpassed beauty, Constantia offers award-winning wine estates and restaurants. Various Wine Estates Wine estates are planned and booked according to your wine preferences. As the day comes to an end, you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 8 – Cape Town at Leisure

South Africa’s “Mother City” is indescribably beautiful, steeped in fascinating history and pulsating to a heady African rhythm. Indeed, few urban centers anywhere can match its setting along the mountainous Cape Peninsula spine, which slides into the Atlantic Ocean. A ride in a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, a ferry journey to Robben Island, or a meandering tour through the Winelands will leave you in no doubt that this place is an absolute highlight on any vacation to Africa. South Africa boasts incredibly good weather, gorgeous scenery and fantastic beaches and is one of the most diverse and enchanting countries in the world. Exotic combinations of landscapes, people, history and culture offer visitors a unique and inspiring experience.

Day 9 – Cape Town to Kapama Private Game Reserve

Today you will continue your adventure. Fly from Cape Town to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, Kapama Buffalo located in the Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Day 10 – Game Activities at Kapama Buffalo

Spend the day enjoying the activities offered at Kapama Buffalo.

Game drives are accompanied by a skilled ranger and tracker, guests can expect to encounter a diverse range of animal and bird species on game drives. The day starts with an early wake-up call between 5am and 5:30am. Tea, coffee and rusks are enjoyed together before heading out at first light. While seeing big game is always exhilarating, there are many other smaller species that are also captivating, and birding enthusiasts will be delighted at the approximately 350 species of birds recorded on the reserve. Halfway through the game drive, there’s a stop for hot drinks and snacks, before returning to the lodge at around 9:00am for a full breakfast. Throughout the day, it’s likely you will see wildlife around the lodge - nyala antelope and vervet monkeys are frequent visitors, though seeing some of the Big Five is also not uncommon. At around 3:30pm, everyone gathers for a decadent high tea, before heading out with your ranger and tracker for the afternoon game drive through the reserve. En route, you’ll stop for a sundowner drink and will have a chance to stretch your legs as you watch the sun set over the distant peaks of the Drakensberg mountains. As darkness falls, the nocturnal animals of the bush come out. The skilled tracker will scan the landscape using a spotlight, which illuminates animal’s eyes. A variety of completely different species can be seen on the night drive back to the lodge. Arrival is at the lodge is usually around 7:00pm, allowing time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.

Day 11 – Game Activities at Kapama Buffalo

Spend these few days enjoying the facilities and game activities offered at Kapama Buffalo.

In addition to the game drives a bush walk is also an option and included in your stay. Feel Africa underfoot on a guided bush walk with a highly trained game ranger. The experience offers an intimate encounter with nature and wildlife, and medicinal and other plants are identified en-route.

Day 12 – Depart Kapama Private Game Reserve

Enjoy your last game activity at Kapama Buffalo before transferring to Hoedspruit Airportyou’re your flight to Johannesburg Airport where you will connect with your onward flight.
