    Welcome to Kigali, Rwanda

Upon arrival into Kigali Airport, a driver will meet you at baggage claim to transfer you to your accommodation.

Rwanda is a land of great diversity and beauty and is famous for its gorillas. Situated in the heart of Africa the country shares the natural riches from both the Congo Basin and the Great Rift Valley of eastern Africa resulting in unsurpassed biodiversity. Among its many and enduring attractions are the primates, in particular the Mountain Gorillas; one of the most awesome wildlife interactions in the world. The capital city Kigali is located at Rwanda's geographical heart. Kigali is blessed with a moderate high altitude climate and is conveniently located within three hours' drive of Parc des Volcans, home to the Mountain Gorilla.

Continue your transfer to the Volcanoes National Park to your accommodation.

Parc National de Volcans, or Volcanoes National Park in plain English, is the epicenter for mountain gorilla safaris. First established in 1925 and then extended four years later into Rwanda and the then Belgian Congo, the park is home to a myriad of wildlife beyond mountain gorillas. Golden monkeys, a variety of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects among many other creatures all call the park home. Volcanoes National Park serves as invaluable refuge for Rwanda's mountain gorillas and stunning example of the region's biodiversity.
