  1. Day 1

    Welcome to Doha, Qatar

    Welcome to Doha! Upon arrival at Doha International Airport a local representative will meet you as you disembark the aircraft. You will be assisted through passport and immigration to collect your luggage. You will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation.

    Evening at Leisure
    Doha comes alive at night with a hive of live music venues, bars, and world-class restaurants. The thriving food scene features a melting pot of different flavors and influences and varies from Michelin-starred restaurants to delicious street food. With an evening at leisure there are plenty of things to keep you busy. Enjoy dinner or coffee at Al Hazm Mall or explore the many souqs and soak up the bustling atmosphere.
  2. Day 2

    Doha, City and Deserts

    This morning discover the unique heritage of Downtown Doha as you wander through the vibrant labyrinth of alleyways of Souq Waqif. View modern day Doha’s towering iconic architecture and discover the Corniche, Doha’s iconic waterfront where the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf provides the setting to the city’s impressive skyline.

    Late afternoon, discover the unique desert environment where sand dunes spill into the azure waters of the Inland Sea. In this exciting adventure, qualified desert drivers will take you through the dramatic sand dunes to Khor Al Adaid, a large tidal embayment recognised for its outstanding natural heritage value. The adventure starts once you reach the desert. Drive through the dramatic sand dunes until you reach Khor Al Adaid, or the Inland Sea. You will have an opportunity to take in the magnificent desert landscape before continuing to the desert camp. Here you will be treated to a private BBQ dinner overlooking the azure waters of the Arabian Sea before being returned to your hotel.

  3. Day 3

    Doha to South Luangwa National Park

    Transfer from your accommodation to Doha International Airport for your departing flight. Fly Doha to Lusaka (not included). Upon arrival into Lusaka International Airport, you will be met and assisted to connect with your onward flight to Mfuwe. Fly by scheduled charter flight to Mfuwe Airport where you will be met by a local representative and assisted to your transfer vehicle. Transfer by road for roughly 1 hour through rural villages and into the National Park to Chinzombo.

    Experience the ultimate in wild luxury at Zambia’s premier safari camp located in one of the most game-rich areas of the South Luangwa National Park. South Luangwa National Park is the highlight of eastern Zambia, very few places in Africa can offer the unique combination of grassy plains and mature, mesmerizing woodlands, browned with the pristine and impressive Luangwa River. With an reputation for abundant wildlife and unspoiled vegetation, every visit will offer excellent safari experiences.

  4. Day 4

    Activities at Chinzombo

    Enjoy your days at Chinzombo which offers game drives and some walking safaris.

    Experience the thrill of being totally immersed in true wilderness in the South Luangwa National Park, rich with leopard, lion and elephant. Be bold dine al fresco under the glittering African night sky accompanied by the sound of whooping hyenas and roaring lions.

    Experts have dubbed South Luangwa to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and not without reason. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the most intense in Africa. The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life-blood of this 9059 km2 Park. The Park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and vegetation. The changing seasons add to the Park's richness, ranging from; dry, bare bushveld in the winter, to a lush, green wonderland in the summer months. There are 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species in South Luangwa National Park. The only notable exception is the rhino, sadly poached to extinction.

    South Luangwa to Lower Zambezi

    Today you will be transferred to the Mfuwe Airport for your scheduled charter flight to the Lower Zambezi. Upon arrival, you will be met by a local representative and enjoy a game drive transfer to Chongwe Camp.

    Chongwe is set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers which wind through the forested valley, creating a haven for wildlife and making the most of what Mother Nature provided. Wake up from a peaceful nap to the sound of an elephant rubbing against the side of your tent as it lumbers past.

  7. Day 7

    Activities at Chongwe Camp

    During your stay, enjoy an impressive variety of safari activities, created for the ultimate exploration of this magnificent African paradise. By land, you can enjoy game drives and walking safaris, or take to the rivers and explore with boat cruises, canoeing safaris and tiger-fishing. Back in camp, the wildlife hide is great for photography, especially rare nocturnal creatures.

  8. Day 8

    Activities at Chongwe Camp

    Enjoy another day of safari activities while at Chongwe Camp. Nestled between the imposing mountain escarpment to the north and the mighty Zambezi River to the south, the Lower Zambezi Valley has a variety of activities that few, if any, other destinations can offer. It has been described by guests as their "happy place" because of its beautiful scenery, peaceful riverside woodlands and abundant wildlife.

  10. Day 10

    Lower Zambezi to Livingstone

    Today you will transfer by vehicle from the camp back to the Airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Livingstone. Upon arrival into Livingstone Airport a representative from Royal Chundu will greet you and assist you to Heli pad for your Scenic Helicopter transfer to Royal Chundu. What better way to see the magical winding Zambezi River and the crashing of the Victoria Falls than from above in a helicopter. Get up close to the Victoria Falls while flying through the gorge on your way to Royal Chundu’s helipad. This is without doubt one of the best ways to photograph the Falls.

    Activities at Royal Chundu

    From tranquil to thrilling, Royal Chundu offers a Zambezi river adventure to satisfy all. Enjoy daily sunset cruises, a village community visit, birding safaris or canoeing.
