It is immaculate with uncrowded beaches, powder-soft white sands, glorious tropical climate and warm turquoise waters. It is a kaleidoscope array of untouched forests, bird sanctuaries, exotic hideaways, virgin fishing grounds, and spectacular diving spots where few have ever ventured. One of the Seychelles greatest assets is its wide variety of islands all with their own distinct geography, character and stories to tell.

Today you depart the tropical island of Mahes for South Africa. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival into Johannesburg you will be met and assisted on foot to your accommodation

Johannesburg is the economic heart of South Africa, the central focus of Egoli ('Place of Gold'), as the Sotho name for Gauteng suggests. The largest and richest city in South Africa, Johannesburg's lifestyle is a fast-paced and hectic one. No-one could have imagined the repercussions when an unemployed miner found a stone bearing traces of gold here in 1886, an event that led to the discovery of the world's richest natural treasure trove.

Starting Accommodation: InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Day 7 – Johannesburg to Sabi Sands Game Reserve
This morning please make your own way on foot to the Federal Air kiosk located just outside the hotel. Fly by scheduled flight from Johannesburg to the Singita Airstrip. Upon arrival you will be met by Singita staff and transferred in open vehicle to the lodge.

Undoubtedly the most prestigious game park in South Africa, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is known for having some of the best available Big Five game spotting in the country. Located on the southwest corner of the Kruger National Park, there are no restricting fences so the animals roam freely just as nature intended.

Starting Accommodation: Singita Boulders Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8 – Game Activities at Singita Private Game Reserve
Spend the day enjoying the activities offered at Singita Game Reserve.

Adjacent to the world renowned Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famed for its intimate wildlife encounters, particularly leopard viewing. Home to a host of wildlife, including the Big Five, Sabi Sand is part of a conservation area that covers over two million hectares (almost five million acres), an area equivalent to the state of New Jersey and larger than some independent countries.  With no boundary fences between the reserve and the Kruger National Park, Sabi Sand benefits from the great diversity of wildlife found in one of the richest wilderness areas on the African continent along with the additional benefits experienced on a private game reserve. Daily and nightly game drives led by highly trained rangers and trackers allow for intimate game experiences from the comfort of your open safari vehicle. Game drives are done in open land rovers to ensure you get the best possible photographic opportunities. Here rangers are allowed to go off-road, tracking animals into the thicker bush and getting you closer to the action. Night drives are an excellent way to view nocturnal animals that you may otherwise not get to see. Singita Sabi Sands Lodges also offer guided safari walks (on request) and mountain biking and archery.

Walking safaris are an incredible way to experience the bush up close and personal. Your expert guide and tracker will accompany you as you track animals on foot through the wilderness and explore the magnificent plants and landscapes around you. Minimum age of 15 years is required for a walking safari and participation is at the discretion of your Field Guide. There is perhaps no more transcendent experience than looking up at a full sky of sparkling stars. Man has had a love affair with the nighttime sky for centuries and with very little pollution and no city lights to detract for the stars, your view of the heavens here will be crystal clear – nothing between you and the vast African sky above.

Starting Accommodation: Singita Boulders Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Singita's concession is an isolated piece of pristine wilderness where a unique wildlife population thrives across four distinct ecological-zones. This area is especially well-known for the remarkable concentration of the 'Big 5' and four particularly formidable prides of lions.
