Sydney Getaway

Welcome to Sydney. Upon arrival, you will collect your luggage and clear Customs & Immigration before entering the arrivals hall. Your driver will be in the terminal at the designated waiting area to the rear of the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name on it. Your driver will arrive at the designated waiting area 30 minutes after your flight's scheduled time of arrival and will wait for 60 minutes thereafter. Your driver will take you directly to your accommodations by private vehicle.

Depart from your Sydney hotel to discover the fabulous city of Sydney. You will travel through the business district and shopping areas, see Darling Harbour and the vibrant China Town and drive along Oxford Street with its trendy terrace houses and boutique fashion shops. See Centennial Park, a 220-hectare urban parkland in Eastern Sydney. Reaching the coastline, see Bronte and Tamarama, then go on to explore the famous Bondi Beach. Spend 30 minutes walking the promenade or enjoying a coffee overlooking the beach.

From here, continue along the coastal drive past Macquarie Lighthouse to the Southern Headland of Sydney Harbour. Visit Watsons Bay before following the harbor foreshore towards Sydney City. You pass some of Australia's most exclusive waterfront suburbs where harbor mansions may be seen. Drive through Vaucluse, Double Bay before reaching the colorful Kings Cross. Head through Woolloomooloo and see the famous Harry's Cafe De Wheels. Visit Sydney's Botanical Gardens and enjoy some spectacular Harbour Bridge and Opera House views. Return to Sydney's CBD via Saint Mary's Cathedral, historic convict buildings, State Parliament House and the historical quarter of the 'Rocks.' Visit Sydney's Observatory Hill for amazing views over Sydney Harbour to the Blue Mountains. Drop off back at your Sydney hotel, restaurant or other city location.

Head north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and along to the Hawkesbury River, for a 90-minute oyster experience, including: a boat cruise of the Hawkesbury River, a visit to a pearl oyster lease and oyster tasting, along with an oyster shucking demonstration. Enjoy refreshments in the quaint riverside township of Brooklyn before meandering east through the Brisbane Waters National Park, stopping at lovely picnic and boating spots. Following lunch you will be taken to your accommodation at Pretty Beach House, nestled within the Bouddi National Park on the NSW Bouddi Peninsula.

Whilst the key activity at Pretty Beach House is simply doing nothing at all, some guests will want to get out and about and explore the natural beauty of the beaches, bays and the Bouddi National Park, and immerse themselves in the culture and heritage of the fabulous region.

The following bespoke experiences are designed to help you plan your trip and experience all of the spectacular natural assets and cultural icons of this local wilderness:

Bouddi Spa: This is a haven for guests to escape to and de-stress with spa treatments that have been thoughtfully designed to rebalance the synergy between mind, body & soul. Pure Australian botanical products from the iKOU range are featured in the spa, offering a true spirit of place and connection to the earth.

Guided bushwalk: An experienced guide will take you on a stunning coastal walk (some direct from the PBH door) exploring the secluded Lobster Beach, Box Head, the surf break at Tallow Beach or explore the divine Killcare to Putty Beach walk or Maitland Bay track, whilst learning about the local flora and fauna.

Guided Cultural Tour: Hear the history of the local Darkinjung culture at the ancient cave site and Aboriginal shell midden and take in the knowledge about Aboriginal people's kinship with the ocean and the land; learn about the Bush foods and Medicinal uses of the native plants in this region. You will get exclusive permission to view some of the most significant Aboriginal rock engraving and grooving sites in the nation.

Private Wine Tasting: Enjoy a wine tasting experience with our House Sommelier, who will handpick a selection of exclusive wines from the cellar, pair with a cheese plate and bring along tasting notes. The Sommelier will contact you prior to your tasting, to tailor your experience to particular wines you would like to know more about and taste.

Golf: Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club located at Shelly Beach (40 minutes north) is set on the headland and is one of the most stunning clubs in Australia. Or there is The Springs, located in the hinterland just 40 minutes away.

Boat/Fishing charter: The luxury cruiser will take you to hidden beaches and coves that few know exist let alone have ever visited. You'll follow kingfish and salmon, watch dolphins and whales (in season) or pit yourself against with the heavyweights of the deep, reeling in monster marlin and tuna. On board, you'll relax in air-conditioned luxury and savor the delights of the chef's fine Italian cuisine and enjoy your choice of wines, champagne, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Enjoy a leisurely transfer from the Pretty Beach House on the Bouddi Peninsula to Sydney, with drop off either in town or at the airport.
