One of the best places in the world for shark cage diving is Gansbaai's Shark Alley, a channel of water between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock. On any given day, you can usually see at least two or more members of the Marine Big Five—sharks, dolphins, whales, seals and penguins—as well as several bird species. There is of course the chance of spotting one of the greatest ocean predators, the Great White.
