Cape Point Tour

The Cape Peninsula, named by early explorers as the 'Fairest Cape'. On the tour you will encounter beautiful beaches, remarkable scenery, the mythical meeting place of the two oceans and local wildlife. Departing the city, make your way past the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, white and sandy, they offer spectacular views and sunsets. Stop in at Hout Bay, a vibrant harbor suburb of Cape Town. Enjoy a 40-minute boat trip to Seal Island, a small island sanctuary for thousands of Cape Fur seals, which also offers beautiful views of Hout Bay. Visit the Cape of Good Hope, one of the two world-renowned landmarks within the Table Mountain National Park, the other is Table Mountain. This part of the park is home to an array of fynbos, over 250 species of birds, buck, baboons, and Cape Mountain zebra. Hop aboard the funicular and you will be whisked away on a scenic trip 780 feet above the ocean to where the old lighthouse keeps watch over the seas. Continue to False Bay, known for its scenic beauty, it encompasses small seaside villages along the coastline. The most popular small towns include the historical naval village of Simon’s Town, Muizenberg (known for its epic waves), St. James (with its colorful huts), Kalk Bay (with great seafood restaurants) and Fish Hoek (with one of the best beaches). Boulders Beach is home to the African Penguin Colony in Simons Town. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat. If done as a half day tour, Hout Bay will not be included.
