Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort sets rooms and bungalows across 21 landscaped acres on Moorea's Te'avaro beach, including overwater, beachfront and garden-pool bungalows, all with private furnished patios that give even the garden-facing rooms their own quiet outdoor space. Moorea's lagoon, some of the clearest snorkeling water in French Polynesia, sits just off the resort's own beach, no boat required to reach it.
Overwater units add a rain-shower bathroom and a proper walk-in closet, small details that make a longer stay feel less like a vacation rental and more like a real base for exploring the island, and a hike up nearby Mount Rotui rewards the climb with a view over both of Moorea's twin bays at once.
