  2. Day 2

Foodies Journey Through The Mornington Peninsula

The city fades in your rearview mirror as Melbourne gives way to the wild, beautiful coastline of the Mornington Peninsula. This is a place made for food lovers, where rolling organic farms, honey straight from the hive, cool-climate wines, and warm country hospitality shape the day. Meet local producers, taste the region through their stories, and sit down to a proper Devonshire tea on a working farm, with scones warm from the oven.

  4. Day 4

    Melbourne to Uluru

Trade the city for the scale and stillness of the Red Centre as you arrive at Uluru, where Sails in the Desert offers refined comfort against a backdrop of ancient desert landscapes. As evening settles over the desert, head to a remote location with uninterrupted views of the monolith. A lone didgeridoo marks the transition from day to night while a three-course dinner inspired by native bush ingredients is served beneath a sky dense with stars. Then, as darkness deepens, Field of Light slowly awakens: 50,000 illuminated glass spheres spreading across the desert floor and shifting softly through changing color.

  5. Day 5

Kata Tjuta Sunrise Tour, Uluru & Sunset Tour

Begin at Kata Tjuta at sunrise, when shifting light brings definition to the immense domes, before continuing into Walpa Gorge, named for the wind that moves through it. Walking between the towering rock walls offers a deeper understanding of both the ancient geology and enduring cultural significance of this place.

Spend time at the base of Uluru, approaching gradually to appreciate its scale. Walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole and past rock art sites while learning about the monolith’s significance to the Anangu people. End the day at Talinguru Nyakunytjaku with a toast as the last light washes across Uluru, with Kata Tjuta lingering in the distance.

  6. Day 6

Scenic Drive to Kings Canyon & Under a Desert Moon Experience

Today you venture deeper into the red heart of Australia. Pause at Mt Conner, a solitary mesa rising from the desert plains, before continuing to Kings Canyon. Along the way, an easy walk at Kings Creek Station leads into an ancient creek bed beneath towering sandstone walls, offering a preview of the remarkable landscapes that await.

As darkness settles over the canyon, the night takes on a life of its own. Canapés and sparkling wine on the lawn give way to a hidden table beneath an immense canopy of stars, where a five-course dinner celebrates seasonal, locally sourced ingredients paired with exceptional Australian wines. With a fire crackling nearby and no city lights for hundreds of miles, the vast outback night sky delivers a spectacle few places on Earth can match.

  7. Day 7

Kings Canyon Rim Walk & Sunset Experience

Rise early and lace up your boots for the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, one of Australia’s great half-day hikes. The trail threads past towering red cliffs and the sandstone domes of the Lost City, with the lush, improbable beauty of the Garden of Eden waiting for those who venture farther. The afternoon brings time to rest at Kings Canyon Resort or choose your own perspective on the landscape, perhaps from above on a scenic helicopter flight.

As the sun drops toward the canyon walls, the day finds a fittingly magical close. Bruce Munro, the artist behind Uluru’s celebrated Field of Light, has turned his vision to Kings Canyon. Gather at dusk with a glass of wine and native-inspired canapés as the Light-Towers slowly come alive in the fading light.
