Day By Day

Day 1 – USA to Sydney
Today you will begin your Swain Destinations customized itinerary.

Day 2 – Cross the International Date Line
Cross the International Date Line, an imaginary line on the surface of the Earth that runs from the North to the South Pole - and defines one calendar day from the next. Crossing the International Date Line adds one day (24 hours) traveling west, and subtracts one day (24 hours) traveling east.

Day 3 – Welcome to Sydney, Australia
Upon your arrival into Sydney, a driver will meet you at baggage claim to transfer you to your city accommodation.

It is no surprise that when the British first arrived in Sydney they named the area Botany Bay. Even today, with a population of over four million people and a reputation for fun rather than flora, one is still surrounded by bush land in this bustling city. Native Waratah wind their way through the historic Rocks area, palm trees frame long stretches of pristine beach, and Eucalyptus embrace the endless and beckoning bays of Sydney Harbour.

Hyatt Regency Sydney
Hyatt Regency Sydney is Australia's largest hotel with 892 rooms and all the conveniences of a full-service hotel, providing exactly the service and comfort you need. The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of Sydney's bustling central business district overlooking exciting Darling Harbour. A short walk puts you in the center of an exciting array of attractions, entertainment venues and busy shopping areas, including Harbourside, The Sydney Convention Centre, Sydney Aquarium, Chinatown, Cockle Bay Wharf and King Street Wharf.

Starting Accommodation: Hyatt Regency Sydney

Day 4 – BridgeClimb
BridgeClimb is a 3.5 hour guided journey to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It takes you along the outer arch of the bridge on catwalks and ladders all the way to the summit, 400 feet above Sydney Harbour. In climb groups of up to 14 people, you'll be led by a professional Bridge Climb leader on an adventure of the world's most recognizable bridge. The steady incline to the summit leaves you free to focus your attention on your Sydney experience, with opportunities to witness 360-degree views of Sydney, including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbour city surrounds. When you reach the top you will have a sense of achievement that you will remember forever - you've conquered an Australian icon recognized the world over! The professional Climb Leaders will take pictures of you on the climb and at the end you will receive a commemorative Climber Certificate, a complimentary Climber Cap and group photograph, with all climbers in the group receiving an identical photo.

Starting Accommodation: Hyatt Regency Sydney

Day 5 – Sydney Classic Bicycle Tour
The Sydney Classic is Bonza Bike Tour's most popular tour. You are taken to all of the iconic sights, and tons of the other sights you may miss on your own. You will be taken to see the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour (right next to the yachts themselves), the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, the Royal Botanic Gardens (including the Flying Foxes), Hyde Park, the Anzac War Memorial, China Town, Sydney Tower, Parliament House, Queen Victoria Building, Museum of Contemporary Art, The Art Gallery of New South Wales and over 30 more great attractions!

Day 6 – Bondi to Coogee Walk
The Bondi to Coogee walk features six beaches and a number of coves and bays. Most visitors to the coastal walk start either at Bondi Beach or Coogee Beach. If you don't feel like walking the full distance you can walk just a section and take public transport to or from Tamarama, Bronte and Clovelly. A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for almost 4 miles (6 kilometers) in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. Most beaches offer picnic shelters, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms, Tamarama, Bronte, Coogee and Maroubra have free electric barbecues. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a medium grade walk but there are some steep gradient paths and several staircases along the track. There are rest stops with great views and seating along the Bondi to Coogee walk.
