Swain Tours Rebrands as Swain Destinations
Leading U.S. provider of exotic vacation experiences redefines position within the landscape of the evolving travel marketplace
(ARDMORE, PA; November 12, 2013)— As an acknowledgement and reflection of the company’s impressive growth and evolution since its 1987 inception, Swain Tours will re-launch on January 6, 2014, as Swain Destinations. What began as a husband and wife team serving as a dedicated source for Down Under travel has become the leading U.S. provider of completely customized global vacation experiences, now comprised of international travel consultants hailing from all corners of the globe.
Despite the new name and refreshed identity, the ownership and the culture of the organization will remain unchanged and the core values of the family-run business will remain steadfast. The team of tenured travel consultants will continue to leverage their first-hand expertise to curate well-tailored itineraries.
“The rebranding will allow us to better align the perception of our brand with the full scope of our services. We have evolved beyond our reputation as an Australia- and New Zealand-centric travel planner by creating an international network of destinations specialists,” said Co-Founder Ian Swain, an Aussie native. “Our knowledge and passion now spans across over 30 countries on three continents.”
The shift from Swain Tours to Swain Destinations better reflects the company’s core focus – a commitment to customized experiences for individual travelers. Swain’s investment in the new brand is part of the company’s continued focus on personalized service and its dedication to enriching lives through international experiences.
“An itinerary is more than a compiled series of steps,” said Co-Founder Linda Swain. “It is a traveler’s first impression of the sights, flavors, and sounds that define a culture and we take that responsibility to heart.”
Swain Destinations has developed expertise in designing distinctive trips to intriguing international locales, including Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Asia, India, and Africa. Swain’s capabilities traverse a wide spectrum of age groups, lifestyles, and price points. Trip genres include adventure, diving, indigenous, and wildlife for intrepid travelers; beach, luxury, romance, and spa/retreat for leisure vacationers; and city, culinary, and culture for cosmopolitan tourists. The company also offers specialization in family and golf vacations; as well as cruise, train, and short-stay options.
