Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora

Imagine sinking your toes into white-sand beaches, stopping for a dip in a crystal-clear lagoon, and sipping champagne while gazing at an expanse of shimmering stars. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora invites you to stop imagining and let us make your holiday dreams come true.

Those lucky enough to have traveled to Bora Bora aren’t likely to forget the pink glow of the island sunset or the way the sea changes from sapphire to turquoise and back again. At least not anytime soon. That may be why U.S. News & World Report named Bora Bora the best island in the world.

Things To Do

Activities

Helicopter Tour of Islands: Charter a helicopter and get a bird’s-eye view of Bora Bora. Soar around towering Mount Otemanu and over Mount Pahia, gaze down into the clear turquoise water below and spot dolphins, sharks and neighboring islands. Touch down on one of these neighbor islands for an authentic tour of a black pearl or vanilla bean farm. The Resort can arrange a half-day experience with the local farmers, during which you’ll learn their trade secrets and have a hand in their end product, be it aromatic fresh vanilla beans or dazzling black pearls to be set as earrings or a necklace.

Discover Secret Snorkeling Spots: Take a private chartered boat with the Resort’s marine biologist for a half-day excursion to some of Bora Bora’s best and least-known snorkeling spots, and see spectacular coral gardens, schools of rays, blacktip reef and lemons sharks and other creatures of the sea. Gain valuable insight into the wonders of the underwater world at the Resort’s Lagoon Sanctuary, home to 100 species of marine life, and learn what we can all do to ensure this environment thrives in generations to come. Work with the marine biologist to graft coral and complete the experience by adopting a piece of your own, which you can come back and visit in the future.
Restore Inner Harmony at the Spa: Achieve inner balance with the Kahaia Haven Ritual, an ideal for sharing with a loved one in the Spa’s private over-water Kahaia spa suite. The skin-smoothing body treatment begins with cleansing using naturally exfoliating kahaia body scrub, enriched with Tahitian black pearl powder and native fragrant vanilla. The ritual concludes with a massage and holistic and calming Water and Light facial, rich in antioxidants and plant extracts, ensuring that the skin is hydrated, nourished and renewed.

Shopping for High-End Keepsakes: La Boutique Orama and the Black Pearl Lounge, both at the Resort, carry excellent quality woodcarvings and stone carvings from Marquesas; tivaivai, quilts, pottery, tapa cloth and paintings by local artists; and many other Polynesian handicraft items.

Fire Dancers and Outrigger Canoes: To get a taste of Polynesian culture, take in the Resort’s Polynesian Dinner Show with musicians and fire dancers on the beach. Another opportunity to experience Polynesia is to go on to a ray ballet safari on a Polynesian traditional outrigger canoe.

Family Fun: The Resort has one of the most unique family programs in the world. Kids for all Seasons is for the younger guests (ages 5 to 12) and Chill Island is specifically for teens (ages 13 to 17). Both offer all-day complimentary programming of recreational and cultural activities. Get more things to do with kids in Bora Bora on Have Family Will Travel.

Explore the Great Outdoors: For a memorable outing, take an excursion on the Four Seasons Catamaran. You’ll spend time snorkeling, followed by a Polynesian traditional barbecue on a secluded private motu (islet) before heading back to the Resort. Or take a Jeep tour of the island—going up into the hills to overlook the island’s shores, neighbor islands and historic cannons from World War II.
