Care for Wild

We love Care for Wild Africa because it is a life saver and a true species saver for the Rhinoceros population. With the escalation of Rhino poaching, CFWA has become a vital sanctuary that provides care for injured and orphaned rhinos in Africa. Under the direction of a devoted, animal whisperer, Petronell, CFWA has developed a center that accommodates 100 black and white rhinos in a viable, secure breeding population.

Swain Destinations has served as a sponsor for Manji, a baby rhino sheltered at CFWA, and has access for our clients to experience the heart of Africa in action. The opportunity to witness the careful nurturing and rehabilitation of baby rhinos for a bright future will make your heart sing.

Singita

We love that Singita has redefined luxury safaris as an essential tool for instilling conservation practices in the youth of Africa. Thousands of children have participated in the Conservation Education Program at Singita since 2012. Singita utilizes its innovative Canine Anti-Poaching Unit comprised of rescue dogs from the United States to combat poaching of endangered animals.

Koala Clancy Foundation

We love koalas and the unique indigenous species of flora and fauna that are found only in Australia.

Swain Destinations is actually a founding sponsor of the Koala Clancy Foundation which supports Australia's koala population. They plant thousands of Eucalyptus Trees to address the degradation of the koala's natural habitat.

We love that we can provide a true heart pumping experience with our “Echidna Walkabout” which offer clients a hands-on opportunity to assist in clearing their own piece of the koala, kangaroo, echidna and other species’ natural habitat while enjoying natural surprises along the way.

Jabulani

Our heart melts at the sight of elephants! They are kindred-spirits to us humans and need protection now more than ever. Swain Destinations has committed substantial resources to seeking out true sanctuaries that provide non-intrusive elephant experiences for our clients when visiting Africa. Interactions with happy and healthy elephants in a nurturing environment with passionate conservationists results in an unbreakable bond between our clients and elephants.

Jabulani in Africa is a five star luxury lodge and refuge for orphaned elephants, named after the first orphaned elephant they rescued in 1997. They have since become a leader in conservation and responsible tourism and Swain Destination has a big heart for their “Soulful Safari Experience” and sharing it with our clients.
