Day 1 – Arrive in Papeete
Papeete, Tahiti's port capital, is much more than a stepping stone to the outer islands; it is a delightful blend of island sleepiness and cosmopolitan chic. Both early discoverers and modern tourists cherish the city for its sheltered bay. The broad avenue along the waterfront is always abuzz with activity. Explore the hibiscus lined streets in the early morning cool and treat yourself to a breakfast of crepes from one of the charming snack vans edging the streets. Trace artistic brilliance on a Gauguin half day tour, window shop the boutiques, sip the local Hinano beer at an outdoor cafe, or indulge in a sunset cruise. On Sunday mornings wind down with the locals by visiting the municipal market where stalls of handicrafts tempt tourists, and daily catches of seafood sit alongside bouquets of bananas.

Day 3 – Combined 4WD and Waterfall Tour
Follow your guide for this full day tour of Moorea! Spend the morning in a 4WD vehicle discovering the interior of Moorea island, its magnificent panoramas and cultural beauties. Lunch will be enjoyed reef side at the Pointe de Temae, with a typical Polynesian dish served with a glass of punch. A short break will give you time to stroll along the beach, collect some nice shells and swim in the lagoon. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Afareaitu where an easy hike up of about 15 minutes will take you to one of the waterfalls of the valley. Do not hesitate to take a dip! Day 4 – Day at Leisure in Moorea
