Camp Okavango

To ensure a peaceful and genuine safari experience, Camp Okavango accommodates just twenty-four guests.  There are eleven intimate Safari suites and one Family suite consisting of two bedrooms and each with an en-suite bathroom. Each of the guest suites have been built on individual raised wooden platforms and set beneath the thick Okavango Delta vegetation. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanities, double shower and a separate water closet (with a view). The stack away sliding doors open onto a private open-air viewing deck offering beautiful views over the Okavango Delta. Room supplied with: fans, mosquito nets, hairdryers, tea & coffee facilities, multiple adaptors, 24 hour solar power, a range of biodegradable bathroom amenities.

Motorized Boat Safaris
Guided excursions through the deeper channels and lagoons of the Okavango Delta in hard-bottom aluminum boats.

Mokoro Excursions (Canoe)
Guided mokoro excursions in traditional dugout canoes through the shallower channels and floodplains of the Okavango Delta.

Guided Bush Walks
Bush walks on the surrounding islands for a chance to track the larger species that inhabit the water wilderness.

Fishing
Optional fishing excursions to fish for bream or tiger fish (seasonal).

Helicopter Flight
Scenic helicopter flights over the Okavango Delta are available from Camp Okavango at an additional charge.

Sleep out Platform
Spend the night out under the stars on the Camp Okavango sleep out deck (For stays of 3-nights or more).
