Known as one of Southern Africa’s most internationally acclaimed resorts, The Royal Livingstone Hotel in Zambia underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade which was completed in December 2012. Some of the elements that were enhanced include better reading lights in the rooms, Wi-Fi access in all of the rooms, a greater feeling of space, comfort and luxury in the rooms, and even a change to Molton Brown amenities to offer a more contemporary feel.

Luxury Room
The Royal Livingstone is perfectly situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, and reflects the vibrant energy of the natural space. The Twin Rooms are luxuriously furnished and consist of 2 twin beds, or a king, a private veranda and Victorian style en-suite bathroom. Additional amenities complete the luxurious appeal, such as: adjustable air-conditioning and heating, personal safety deposit boxes, color TV, telephone, electric shaver plug (110 volts AC, 50 cycles) and 24 hr. room service.

Corner Luxury Room
The luxury corner Rooms consist of 2 twin feather beds (or one king bed), a Victorian style in-suite bathroom and a private enclosed patio. This tranquil space is protected from the elements with a sliding door, appropriately fitted with refined mosquito netting, which allows for an extra sleeping and lounge area. There is a wicker sofa where you can laze comfortably enjoying the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan. Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite at The Royal Livingstone is a testament to the immaculate class and style that is so prevalent throughout the hotel. Things To Do

An activity desk at the hotel will take care of all your adventure bookings on and around the Falls Resort. All the adventure activities are in close proximity to the hotel, even those you need to drive to. You can expect no more than a 15-minute drive to most of the activities. The main attraction to Zambia, the Victoria Falls, is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel and as a Royal Livingstone Hotel guest, you have unlimited free access to the Falls via the resort's private entrance. The Royal Spa offers massages overlooking the river. Relax in exquisite tents and in the shade of ancient trees, and feel as time slips by in the touch of a hand and the smooth-flowing waters. But if no activity is your choice of activity, then any one of the hammocks dotted alongside the river are sure to catch your fancy, or laze by the pool right on the banks of the Zambezi River with breath-taking views. ​​​
