Shepard's Cottage

Complete with a cozy open fire set in a renovated historic fireplace, endless ocean and farmland views and an outdoor bath and gardens. 

The Homestead
A private sanctuary awaits you. Built in the 1880s, The Annandale Homestead has been lovingly restored to create a luxurious five-bedroom villa, in a private and tranquil setting, providing guests with one of New Zealand's foremost Owners Cottage accommodation options. Complete with four master suites and en suite bathrooms, fifth bedroom with bunk beds and two double beds, swimming pool and spa pool, tennis court, gym, significant gardens and decks to relax, wi-fi, digital televisions and available laundry services.

Kayaking
This excursion showcases the best of Pigeon Bay and coastal Banks Peninsula. Tailored to guest’s fitness and weather conditions, your personal guide will share the natural beauty, key points of interest including flora, fauna, historical sites and fascinating geology as well as the abundant sea life of birds, seals, penguins and dolphins.

Farm Tours
Enjoy a guided tour of the Annandale farm. Taking you over rugged tracks whilst experiencing views on some of the higher, more scenic locations on the farm. Your tour will incorporate visiting the historic wool shed, seeing livestock up close and experiencing some of the practical sides of a working farm.

Walking and Hiking
Annandale boasts many spectacular tracks, varying in length and terrain. Roam the property and enjoy the views. Trails vary from moderate to more challenging fitness levels and maps are provided in your villa.

Mountain Biking
Leisurely ride around Pigeon Bay from the Homestead, or discover the farm roads from Shepard's Cottage and beyond. There are complimentary mountain bikes and trail maps for use. 

Clay Target Shooting
Clay-shooting tests the reflexes like no other sport. What better place to enjoy a shoot than in one of Annandale's valleys, led by one of Canterbury's most experienced gun club instructors.
