Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts

Here is one of the Pacific's best-kept secrets, an atoll dear to the heart of Polynesians for its preserved beauty : suspended between sky and waves, Tikehau is a crown of coral islets that form an exceptional, 26-km long lagoon. In the language of the Tuamotu, Tikehau means "peaceful landing," and it's easy to understand the origins of its name. There, nestled in a wild coconut grove, on a pink sand beach, Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts awaits you for a stay in paradise.

Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts is set on Motu Tiano, an islet just 15 minutes away from the village. In the steady breeze of the Trade Winds, 10 acres between ocean and lagoon, a wild coconut grove fringed by desert, pink sand beaches, unlike any other in French Polynesia : there really is nothing that compares to a Tikehau vacation.

The two neighboring motu, which Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts intentionally leaves in their natural state, offer our guest the guarantee of a preserved, serene environment that they can easily explore as they are accessible after only a short walk in the shallow, turquoise waters of the lagoon.

Less than two hours away from Papeete, Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts is a unique and privileged universe in more ways than one. Tikehau enjoys a median temperature of 26°C (79°F) all year round, and does not really have a rainy season. The only resort in its category in the Tuamotu, the greatest chain of coral atolls in the world, Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts opens the doors, in a low-key refinement inspired by surrounding nature, a paradise long reserved to the most intrepid navigators.

Room Information

At Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts, choose what suits you best : 13 Beach Bungalows with air conditioning, and 24 Overwater Bungalows and Suites. All bungalows are designed in true Polynesian style : niau thatched roofs (made from coconut palms), bamboo, teak and local wood. Very spacious (from 45m² to 93m2 for the suites), each with a private deck and fan, minibar, coffee / tea making sets, direct dial phone, safe, and television, they provide the perfect décor for a restful and romantic stay at the heart of an untouched nature. Through the glass floor in your overwater bungalow, admire your downstairs neighbors: the thousands of fish that live happily in one of the world's most beautiful lagoons.

Beach Bungalows
Located directly on the beach, facing the lagoon and its many shades of blue, sheltered by the legendary "aito," Polynesia's ironwood trees, and by the coconut trees that softly rustle in the marine breeze, our beach bungalows play the exotic card with their indoor/outdoor bathrooms overlooking a small garden.

Overwater Bungalows
Built on the "hoa", a shallow gash in the coral crown of the atoll, through which the ocean feeds the lagoon, the overwater bungalows are located on the first pontoon and feature a glass table to enjoy the incredible underwater life.

Premium Overwater Bungalows
At the far end of the pontoon for maximum intimacy, our premium bungalows feature glass tables, and a direct access to the crystal-clear lagoon.

Overwater Suites
Located a little further away, on the second pontoon, the overwater suites overlook the calm and clear water of the sandy-bottomed lagoon. First row at the ever-grandiose spectacle of the Polynesian sunset or sunrise, these large suites offer refined luxury and many amenities, such as air conditioning and large bathtubs, for your complete pleasure on your Tikehau vacation.

Beach Villa
Nested in a quiet corner of the resort, this large villa with its thatched roofs and tropical woods is ideal for families who need quality time together, or for lovers who want to preserve their intimacy.
