When you open the door into your hotel room/studios you'll be mesmerized by the spectacular view from your balcony or patio. Looking straight out to the mountains and Lake Wanaka will enliven your senses and begin your journey of relaxation.

Hotel rooms/studios feature twin, triple or queen/king bed configurations.

• Hotel rooms: king/queen bed configuration are 20 square meters
• Hotel rooms: king/twin or triple configuration are 28 square meters

As you would expect there is the latest flat 26" screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathroom.

One Bed Room Suites
When you arrive at water’s edge the comforts of our one-bedroom suites will let you unwind. Whether the occasion is a special anniversary or simply a chance to rejuvenate, our hotel suites have been designed with space in mind, giving you room to spread out and escape to the heart of welcoming nature.

Each suite features a generous lounge and dining area with kitchenette to make you feel at home. As a fully enclosed retreat, there are in-room laundry facilities if you need them.

A king size bed is nestled away in a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom nearby. Here, you can relax in privacy and prepare for the adventures ahead.

All suites have either a balcony or a patio with uninterrupted vistas right to the edge of Lake Wanaka. Edgewater's suites accommodate up to four guests. If you have up to six guests, Edgewater's apartments are ideal for your stay. The one bedrooms suite are 56 square meters in size.

Two Bedroom Apartments
When you spend time away with family and friends, you want to balance the joys of togetherness with your own personal space. Our two bedroom apartments provide the perfect balance of closeness and privacy, with stunning views.

The hub of the apartment is a full kitchenette, dining and living area where you can share time together and re-live the memories you have just created. This comfortable area lies between the two bedrooms; each with their own bathroom.

The size of a two bedroom apartment (upstairs/downstairs setting) is 80 square meters
Our apartments have been specifically designed so you can enjoy the independence of your own space whilst enjoying the company of up to six guests.

To allow for all preferences, Edgewater provides the comfort of an in-room laundry and near-by car parking for the duration of your stay.

Dining

Gourmet Experiences: There is so much Edgewater and Lake Wanaka have to offer that you may not have the time to return to our enticing Wineglass Cafe. Edgewater can arrange picnic hampers on request, should you wish to dine somewhere slightly off the beaten track.

For those looking to show off their own culinary skills with a classic New Zealand barbecue, we offer gourmet barbecue packs. These can be organized at reception, and prepared by you on one of Edgewater’s gas barbecues.

Room Service: Room service is available to all our suite and apartment guests from 7.00am to 9.30pm, and at other times by prior arrangement.

Spa

Spa and Sauna: Our spa and sauna is the perfect way to rejuvenate. Whether it’s a relaxing break from a busy schedule, or to soothe the day’s exertions on a bike or the ski slopes, experience the warmth and benefits of a modern spa and sauna.

Activities

Mountain Bike and Kayak Hire: The hotel provides facilities to hire either mountain bikes or kayaks, making sure our guests can explore all Wanaka has to offer.

The bikes, new in August 2013, are 'Avanti 29ers' in both men and women's frames. As part of the rental the hotel offers helmet, pump, lock and saddle bag with basic repair kit.

Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or looking for an afternoon’s paddle on Lake Wanaka, the hotel can cater for all skill levels and interests.
