Lodge at Kauri Cliffs – Bay of Islands, New Zealand
The Lodge of Kauri Cliffs is recognized as one of the world’s most luxurious lodges and one of the best places to eat, not only in New Zealand, but in the entire South Pacific. Available in the main dining room or through room services, the food at this luxury lodge is prepared by British born chef, Barry Frith. Learning his culinary skills form world travel, Barry has served dishes as the Lodge’s executive chef since 2008. The Lodge’s signature dish is New Zealand lamb or the New Zealand delicacy of paua (abalone). The Lodge also prepares the picnic hamper. Perfect for lunch on the beach, the basket includes market fish, soba salad, New Zealand cheeses, and chocolate macaroons.
