Around The Lodge

The lodge has 22 guest suites, and each suite has its own private porch, bedroom, sitting area, fireplace, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. Guests can also reserve a stay at the two bedroom Owner’s Cottage overlooking lush green landscapes, the ocean and golf course.

The golf course at Kauri Cliffs is rated as one of the top golf courses in the world by Golf Magazine. The golf complex includes a practice range, putting and chipping greens and a pro shop. Many avid golfers will be happy to spend their entire stay at Kauri Cliffs on the course and around the practice areas but others may choose to include some tennis or basketball. Clay pigeon shooting is also available for those both seasoned and new to the sport.

Guests can partake in a private beach barbeque prepared by a Kauri Cliffs chef. Dishes include fresh grilled seafood, lamb and local produce paired with local wines and cheeses.

The lodge has a world-class spa that uses holistic therapies and indigenous products in all its treatments. Each treatment room has a private patio and stream with forest views. Spa visitors may also use the lodge’s sauna, Jacuzzi, heated indoor lap pool or fitness center.

Off Property Activities

Off property activities include game fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, visits to Ninety Mile Beach, Doubtless Bay or Puketi Kauri Forest.
