Day By Day

Day 1 – Welcome to Brisbane, Australia
Welcome to Brisbane, Australia! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure, taking in your new surroundings.

Day 2 – Brisbane to Alice Springs
Fly to the red heart of Australia, Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Nestled between the MacDonnell Ranges, this iconic Outback town is the geographical center of Australia made famous by its rich pioneering history and enchanting ancient Indigenous culture. A major hub in Australia’s Red Centre, Alice Springs also acts as the main access point for Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Day 3 – Alice Springs
Early this morning, you may like to take an awe-inspiring balloon flight over the desert at sunrise, (at your own expense), before joining the rest of the group to enjoy panoramic views of the town and surrounding MacDonnell Ranges from the top of Anzac Hill. From there you will visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air.

At sunset, you may like to take a memorable camel ride (at your own expense).

Day 4 – Alice Springs, Kata Tjuta, Uluru
The Australian Outback comes to life today as you travel through rugged landscapes to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Visit the rock domes and peaks of Kata Tjuta - The Olgas, and walk to Walpa Gorge.

Tonight, enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set over Uluru. You can opt join a unique experience - the Sounds of Silence Dinner - where you will dine on Australian fare whilst seated under the desert stars (own expense).

Day 5 – Uluru, Cairns
Marvel at the magnificent sunrise over Uluru and take a guided tour around the base of this famous monolith, viewing ancient caves and Indigenous rock art sites.

Enjoy a dramatic change of scenery as you fly from the heart of Australia’s Red Centre to the sparkling blue waters and lush green rainforests of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland. Here you will enjoy a two-night escape at the Pullman Cairns International in a stylish room with mountain views. After time to settle in, the evening is yours at leisure.

Day 6 – Cairns, Great Barrier Reef
Cruise from Cairns by fast catamaran to Reef Magic’s exclusive activity platform on the Great Barrier Reef, where you will enjoy five hours to experience the colorful coral and marine life. Here you can snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, walk through the underwater observatory, or join a guided tour on the semi-submersible or glass-bottom boat.

On return to the Cairns late this afternoon, enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 7 – Cairns, Port Douglas
Farewell Cairns this morning and take a short drive north to Port Douglas. This patch of paradise is the meeting point of the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, and a popular holiday destination. Relax in the open spaces and lush gardens of Peppers Beach Club.

Day 8 – Port Douglas
Today is yours to relax. Perhaps explore Cape Tribulation in the Daintree National Park, home to the world’s oldest living rainforest, or ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Kuranda - both at own expense.

Day 9 – Port Douglas, Cairns, Melbourne
Return to Cairns and fly to Melbourne, with its cutting-edge designs, heritage architecture and village-like suburbs, the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this cosmopolitan city.

Day 10 – Melbourne
Explore the vibrant city of Melbourne on a guided tour, then venture out to the Yarra Valley wine region where lunch awaits amid the vine-covered countryside. Enjoy a free evening back in the city center tonight.

Day 12 – Melbourne, Sydney
Enjoy one last morning to take in the sights of Melbourne at your leisure before flying to Sydney. Transfer to your hotel, which is located just a short stroll from Circular Quay. Wrapped around a spectacular harbor, this glamorous city is home to the instantly recognizable Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Day 13 – Sydney
Discover a selection of Sydney’s most incredible sights on a guided tour today. Then, step inside the Sydney Opera House for a guided tour of this world-renowned theater. 

During the day you will take to the water for a relaxing cruise on the picturesque Sydney Harbour.

Your day culminates with a traditional fish ‘n’ chip feature dinner on Bondi Beach at night.

Day 14 – Sydney
On your free day, perhaps head to the Blue Mountains National Park, or explore the Hunter Valley - both at own expense.

Day 16 – Fly Sydney to USA
