The epitome of authentic charm and elegant comfort, Singita Ebony offers 12 secluded suites with private swimming pools in the Sabi Sand Reserve. The traditional stone and thatch lodge features game viewing decks overlooking the Sand River, a superb wine cellar, spa and gymnasium, and an open boma within a majestic wilderness setting.

The lodge is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve on the family-owned, 44,500 acre (18,000 ha) Singita Sabi Sand private concession.

Things To Do

Game Drives: Hop on board an open-air Land Rover for and experience South African wildlife first hand. Whether you’re and early bird or a night owl, day and night tours are offered every day. As you drive through Sabi Sand Game Reserve, have close encounters with leopards, lions, white and black rhino, elephants, hippopotamus, and cheetahs. Guided Safari Walks are also available.

Community Visits: Guest are invited to be part of the Tsonga culture with visits to the nearby communities of Justicia and Lillydale that border the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Visits are organized by Zamani Tours and aim to give insight into the daily lives of the local people. 

Wine: Recognized as one of Africa’s biggest collectors of wine, Singita will arrange a personalized wine tasting guided by an experienced sommelier. Francois Rautenbach leads the curation of the collection while also training young sommeliers who are as enthusiastic about wine as he is. 

Spa: Treat yourself to Ndzi Lorhe Africa (Dreamed of Africa), the signature treatment of Singita. The experience begins with a full body exfoliation, followed by a soothing body wrap, and finishing with a unique Inkaba balancing massage. Other holistic and healing treatments are available as well. 

Other: Stay busy with on-site activities like taking a dip in the swimming pool or renting a mountain bike. Get a bullseye during an archery lesson, work out at the gym, and enjoy an evening under the South African night sky while star gazing.

Boutiques/Galleries: Pick up one- of-a-kind souvenirs at the curio shop where you will find irreplaceable African treasures. Bring the safari home with printed tapestries, jewelry, and painting all made by local craftsmen.
